Good site layout planning assists in minimizing the traveling time and movement costs of plant, labor, and materials, activity interference during construction work, site accidents, and ensure that work on buildings and other construction positions is not impeded by the thoughtless storage of materials on these locations. Thus site layout can either enhance or adversely affect construction productivity and progress. It is important to acquire the knowledge of the project site before setting out the site layout.
Vastu Shastra is a traditional Indian system of architecture which literally translates to "Science of Architecture." Vastu Vidya knowledge is a collection of ideas and concepts, with or without the support of layout diagrams, that are not rigid. The designs are intended to integrate architecture with nature, the relative functions of various parts of the structure, and ancient beliefs utilizing geometric patterns,symmetry and directional alignments
